Operation Sindoor: India’s Coward Midnight Breach & Pakistan’s Right to Retaliate

By Kousar Khan

When darkness cloaks the sky and humanity rests, India chooses that very hour to strike—not with honor, but with cowardice. On the night of May 6, the so-called “world’s largest democracy” launched a brutal and unprovoked assault on Pakistani soil, proving once again that behind its grandstanding lies a rogue regime addicted to aggression and bloodshed. This wasn’t warfare—it was state-sponsored terrorism dressed up in military fatigues, executed with the sole aim of sowing chaos, fear, and death among innocent civilians.

This unprovoked assault—sold to the world as “precision strikes on terrorist hideouts”—struck at least nine locations, claiming 26 civilian lives and injuring more than 40 non-combatants. Neither schools nor hospitals were spared: their shattered windows testify India’s disregard for every norm of engagement.

India’s justifications ring hollow. New Delhi claims “retaliation” for the Pahalgam attack of April 22, where 26 tourists lost their lives. Yet, in the weeks since that atrocity, India has produced no credible intelligence to link our homeland to those militants. Pakistan’s call for an impartial, transparent investigation—endorsed by international observers—was met with silence. This isn’t defense; it is a narrative manufactured in Delhi’s election war rooms, designed once more to distract its people from domestic challenges.

The world has spoken—and its voices echo Pakistan’s resolute assertion of sovereignty. United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the assault, urging “maximum restraint” and reminding both sides of their responsibility to avert a catastrophic escalation. The Secretary-General’s call carries the weight of a global conscience: no electoral advantage justifies the fascist actions of Lodi Regime.

Back home, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, our National Security Committee convened at the earliest hour. Standing shoulder to shoulder, civilian leadership and military command reaffirmed that Pakistan will never waver in defending its territorial integrity. Under the principles of self-defense enshrined in Article-51 of UN Charter, Pakistan Armed Forces were authorized to undertake measured but decisive counter-actions..

According to DG ISPR, Pakistan’s air defense systems were immediately activated and on high alert, successfully denying Indian aircraft further access to our airspace. In the skies above Muridke and along the Line of Control, Pakistan Air Force swiftly intercepted and neutralized six intruding Indian jets with unmatched precision. On the ground, artillery units responded decisively, targeting only confirmed Indian military positions. Civilian safety remained paramount, a principle India shamelessly discarded.

The responsibility for this escalation lies fully with India. Pakistan’s measured retaliation was necessary, lawful, and restrained given the scale of Indian aggression. Any future fallout will be the direct consequence of New Delhi’s reckless adventurism and criminal disregard for peace.

As dawn breaks on May 7, Pakistan stands united, resolute, and unbowed. Schools along the border remain on alert, hospitals mobilized, and our armed forces vigilant. But our spirit remains unshaken. This is not just a military standoff—it is a moral reckoning. The world now sees India’s true face, and Pakistan, as always, will rise above the chaos with courage, discipline, and unwavering resolve.

In this testing times, the nation stands stronger than before and Pakistan Armed Forces has given a clear message: when soveriegnty is threatened, Pakistan’s defenders rise with unshakeable courage turning the tables on the agressors.
