Two Week Post Promotion Statutory Training for District & Sessions Judges/ Zilla Qazis on Leadership and Management commenced in KP Judicial Academy
02-week Statutory Training for recently promoted District and Sessions Judges/ Zilla Qazis commenced in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA), Peshawar.
The inaugural ceremony was chaired by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Syed Muhammad Attique Shah Chief Justice Peshawar High Court as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished personalities included Mr. Jehanzeb Shinwari, Director General KPJA, Mr. Zia Ur Rahman Dean Faculty, Mr. Dost Muhammad Khan Senior Director Administrion, Dr. Qazi Ataullah Senior Director Research & Publication and all directors and officers of the Academy.
In his address, the chief guest Mr. Justice Syed Muhammad Attique Shah congratulated the recently promoted Judges to the position of District and Sessions Judge/ Zilla Qazi. He highlighted the significant role of District and Sessions Judge/ Zilla Qazi in district judiciary. He shared his professional enterprises with the participants. He encouraged them to have unwaveing faith in Allah SWT while administering justice.
The Chief Justice specifically drew the attention of the participants towards delay of cases and advised them to remain vigilant in all matters. He further highlighted that it is essential for the Judiciary to be independent in order to provide inexpensive and expeditious justice.
Earlier, in his welcome address, the Director General KPJA thanked the Chief Guest for his presence on the occasion. He also welcomed the participants and congratulated them on their promotion. He shared the details of the training program and contents of the training course. He shed light on various aspects of the training.
He further highlighted that this training has not only designed to teach the basic concepts, rather to refine, revitalize, and polish their existing skills and expertise for optimal performance.
